Varna restores water supply after major accident
Residents of the city of Varna now have a normal water supply following a serious accident on the main water pipeline. The problem caused difficulties for thousands of households in the seaside capital over the last few days, but the water utility teams managed to bring the situation under control in time.
The regional minister personally inspected the site of the damage to ensure that the repair work was being carried out to a high standard and on schedule. During the inspection, he emphasized how important it is for infrastructure facilities to be maintained in good condition in order to avoid such crises in the future.
To ensure water for citizens during the repair work, the authorities organized the supply of backup water through alternative routes. Thanks to these measures, there are currently no subscribers in the city who have been left without access to drinking water.
The situation in the city has now been fully normalized. The water utility company announced that teams remain on standby to respond to any potential new problems, and the repair of the main pipe has been completed successfully.
