Democratic Bulgaria criticizes the country's foreign policy
The political coalition "Democratic Bulgaria" has expressed serious concern regarding the current course of the country's foreign policy. According to representatives of the formation, the state leadership's recent decisions call into question Bulgaria's strategic interests within international alliances.
The main focus of the criticism is linked to the country's withdrawal from the so-called "Coalition of the Willing." Democratic Bulgaria believes that this action is a wrong step that distances the country from its allies and weakens its position on the international stage.
Furthermore, the party drew attention to the lack of activity regarding the Missile Defense Coalition. According to them, neglecting this project is a signal of abandoning a consistent policy regarding national security and Bulgaria's defense capabilities.
Democratic Bulgaria emphasizes that the national interest cannot be a subject of bargaining or political compromise. They call for a clearer and more categorical position that aligns with the state's Euro-Atlantic commitments.
