Konstantin Prodanov: Healthcare is suffering from serious financial losses
The Bulgarian healthcare system is facing serious challenges that require urgent reforms. According to Konstantin Prodanov, chairman of a political party, it is precisely in the healthcare sector that the largest financial leaks in the country are observed.
In a statement to the Bulgarian National Television, Prodanov emphasized that the management of public funds in hospitals and institutions is not sufficiently effective. He pointed out that the lack of strict control leads to losses that directly affect the quality of medical services for citizens.
According to experts, the problems in healthcare are complex and include both administrative shortcomings and a need for better transparency in budget allocation. These financial deficits often lead to a shortage of medicines, outdated equipment, and tension among medical staff.
The topic of cost-effectiveness in healthcare remains a priority for public debate in Bulgaria. It is expected that in the coming months, new measures will be discussed to strengthen control and optimize the work of healthcare institutions in order to guarantee better care for patients.
