The state is transferring properties near the village of Manole for the needs of the Plovdiv-Burgas railway line
The government of Bulgaria has made a decision to transfer the management of two state-owned properties located in the area of the village of Manole, Maritsa municipality, free of charge. These plots are being provided to the National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC) to support the development of the country's transport network.
The main goal of this decision is the realization of the large-scale project for the modernization of the railway line between Plovdiv and Burgas. This route is of key importance for connecting Thrace with the Black Sea coast and is part of the state's efforts to improve rail transport in Southern Bulgaria.
The provision of the properties will allow the NRIC to begin the necessary construction and repair activities in the area. The modernization of the railway section aims to increase train speeds, improve passenger safety, and make travel between the two major cities faster and more convenient.
The project is part of a broader strategy for infrastructure renewal in Bulgaria, financed with funds from European funds and the state budget. It is expected that the improvements along the route will stimulate economic activity in the region and facilitate freight and passenger transport towards the port of Burgas.
