Bulgaria strengthens its defense with new anti-drone systems
The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense has announced that the country now possesses two new anti-drone systems. These technologies are designed to protect critical infrastructure and improve the security of the country's airspace.
An official procedure is currently underway for the purchase of two more such systems. The government's goal is to modernize the army and address modern national security challenges related to the use of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The investment in new technology is part of a broader plan to upgrade Bulgaria's defense capabilities. Experts emphasize that defense against drones is becoming increasingly important for the security of every European country in the current geopolitical climate.
The new systems are expected to be fully integrated into the country's defense network in the shortest possible time. Further information regarding the delivery of the next two complexes is expected to be provided by the Ministry of Defense once the public procurement processes are completed.
