Ministry of Defense: No drone wreckage found near sunken ship in the Black Sea
The Ministry of Defense of Bulgaria has released updated information regarding an incident in the Black Sea. Following inspections conducted in the area of a sunken vessel, authorities confirmed that, at this time, no wreckage from unmanned aerial vehicles has been discovered.
Initial aerial observations showed visible damage to the ship's hull. Experts suggest that this damage was caused by maritime drone strikes, but direct evidence in the form of debris is still missing.
The situation in the Black Sea remains a subject of heightened attention by Bulgarian institutions. The military continues to monitor the situation to ensure security in the maritime spaces under Bulgarian jurisdiction.
At this moment, there is no data indicating a direct threat to the population or the country's coastal regions. The investigation into the case is ongoing, with all available data from aerial surveillance being analyzed.
Authorities urge citizens to rely only on official reports from the Ministry of Defense. Further information is expected to be provided if new facts are discovered during the next stages of the inspection.
