Today in Bulgaria: Dobrich Day and Signal Corps Day
Today, September 25, 2026, is a special day for many people in Bulgaria. The country is marking two significant holidays that hold great importance both for local communities and for national security.
First and foremost, the city of Dobrich is celebrating its official holiday. Residents of the northeastern Bulgarian city are commemorating the anniversary of the city's liberation and its return to Bulgarian territory. On this occasion, various cultural events, concerts, and festivities are being organized in Dobrich, bringing together citizens and guests of the city.
Also, today is a professional holiday for Bulgarian military personnel from the signals and information support troops. These specialists play a key role in the modern army by ensuring reliable communication and the protection of the country's information systems.
These events serve as a reminder of the importance of traditions and the role of the professionals who work for the security and development of Bulgaria. The festive day is passing peacefully, with many institutions and organizations expressing gratitude to the people who have contributed to the development of the regions and the army.
