Bulgaria and China discuss future cooperation in industry and energy
Bulgaria and China plan to deepen their economic relations through new joint projects. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Alexander Pulev held an official meeting with representatives of the Chinese government to discuss investment opportunities in the country.
The main topics of the talks were focused on two key sectors: automotive and energy. Both sides are exploring ways to attract Chinese capital into the Bulgarian industry, which could lead to the creation of new jobs and the modernization of production.
In the field of automotive manufacturing, Bulgaria aims to attract investors to use the country as a base for the production of components or entire vehicles. This is part of the government's strategy for the development of high-tech manufacturing with high added value.
The energy sector also occupies a central place in the negotiations. Bulgaria is seeking partnerships for the development of its energy infrastructure, with discussions on opportunities for cooperation in the field of renewable sources and energy efficiency.
It is expected that concrete steps for the realization of these intentions will be determined in the coming months. Successful cooperation between the two countries could strengthen Bulgaria's position as an important industrial hub in the region.
