Democratic Bulgaria calls for investigation into explosions at military factories
The "Democratic Bulgaria" coalition has officially submitted a request for a comprehensive investigation into all incidents involving explosions and fires at military factories in the country over the last 15 years. The political formation is insisting on full transparency regarding the causes of these dangerous events.
The main reason for this request is the recent incidents at facilities of the arms company "EMKO". This year, fires and explosions occurred at the company's warehouses on August 10 and September 12, which caused serious public concern.
According to representatives of "Democratic Bulgaria", the series of similar cases in recent years requires an in-depth analysis by the competent authorities. They believe it is necessary to establish whether these are accidental technical errors or external interference that threatens national security.
At the moment, the institutions are still working to clarify the circumstances surrounding the latest incidents at "EMKO". It is expected that the prosecutor's office and security services will provide more information on whether a large-scale review of all such cases from the last decade and a half will be initiated.
