Bulgaria wins fourth quota for the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
Bulgaria will be represented by four athletes at the upcoming World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. The good news came following official confirmation from the International Gymnastics Federation, which secured an additional spot for our country.
Yordan Aleksandrov played a key role in this success. Thanks to his results and the points accumulated in the rankings, Bulgaria earned the right to send another representative to the prestigious event. This is a significant achievement for Bulgarian sports, demonstrating the upward form of our gymnasts.
The other three quotas were won earlier in the season following a series of successful appearances at international competitions. The coaching staff is already working on finalizing the squad that will defend the colors of our national team in competition against the best athletes from around the world.
The World Championships are an extremely important event, as quotas for the upcoming Olympic Games are also distributed there. The participation of four Bulgarian gymnasts provides better chances for a good ranking and for potentially winning quotas for the biggest sporting event.
The athletes' preparation is expected to continue as planned, with the focus being on perfecting routines on individual apparatuses. Gymnastics fans in Bulgaria are hoping for a strong performance and new successes for our boys on the world stage.
