Photo exhibition showcases 20 years of scientific research in Bulgaria and around the world
A unique photo exhibition marks two decades of intensive work by Bulgarian scientists in the field of ecosystem research. The exposition presents the results of years of effort aimed at understanding how the nature around us is changing.
As part of the project, eight specialized research sites carefully monitor the state of the environment. The studies cover diverse regions – from dense Bulgarian forests and the Black Sea coast to the distant and icy territories of Antarctica.
The goal of the scientists is to collect data on climate change and its impact on biodiversity. Through the photographs, visitors can see what these protected areas look like and what the main challenges facing nature are in the modern world.
The exhibition is open to the general public and offers an opportunity for a deeper understanding of the scientific work being carried out in Bulgaria. It highlights the importance of preserving ecosystems for the future of the planet.
