Bulgaria and Romania strengthen their cooperation for security in the Black Sea
The Black Sea is gaining increasing importance for the stability of Europe in the current geopolitical situation. In this context, Bulgaria and Romania have announced their intention to join forces to ensure security in the region.
The two neighboring countries emphasize that they share common interests and responsibilities regarding their maritime borders. Cooperation between Sofia and Bucharest is key to monitoring the water area and responding to potential risks to shipping and energy infrastructure.
Experts point out that the strengthened partnership is an important step toward reinforcing the defensive capabilities of NATO's eastern flank. Through better coordination and information exchange, the two countries aim to ensure greater predictability and stability in the area.
It is expected that in the coming months, Bulgaria and Romania will conduct a series of joint initiatives aimed at improving maritime security. These actions are part of a broader strategy to protect regional interests and maintain peace in the Black Sea basin.
