Prime Minister Radev: Bulgaria will not tolerate hate speech
Bulgarian state institutions have issued a firm position following a recent incident in the town of Bansko. Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev emphasized that our country has long-standing traditions in maintaining ethnic and religious tolerance, which must be respected by all citizens.

The authorities called for calm and emphasized that law enforcement agencies will strictly monitor compliance with the law. According to the official position, no one should be the subject of discrimination or aggression because of their origin or beliefs.
Bulgaria continues to take pride in its history of peaceful coexistence between different communities. The institutions are adamant that they will continue to work actively to prevent such incidents in the future in order to guarantee security and understanding in society.
