Ukraine thanks Bulgaria for rescuing injured sailors
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed his official gratitude to Bulgaria. The reason for this is the successful rescue operation, during which Ukrainian sailors injured in a military incident in the Black Sea were saved.
The incident involved the merchant ship "Chelsea 3," which was the target of a Russian attack. As a result of the assault, part of the crew sustained serious injuries requiring urgent medical attention and professional intervention.
Bulgarian authorities and teams responded promptly to ensure the safety of the sailors. Thanks to the actions of our rescue services, the victims were extracted from the danger zone and received the necessary care.
This gesture of solidarity highlights Bulgaria's role in regional security and humanitarian aid during the ongoing conflict. The Ukrainian side described the Bulgarian rescuers as true friends in a difficult moment.
The situation in the Black Sea remains tense, which makes such rescue operations extremely important. Bulgaria continues to monitor the situation and provide support to those affected by the military actions in the region.
