Turkish military convoys to pass through Bulgaria on September 13 and 14
The Ministry of Defense announced that military formations from the Turkish Armed Forces will pass through the territory of Bulgaria on September 13 and 14. The movement of personnel and military equipment will take place along the country's national road network.
The transit of Turkish military units is part of planned logistical activities. The convoys are expected to pass through major road arteries, and the movement will be secured and controlled by Military Police teams to ensure the safety of other road users.
The ministry urges drivers to be cautious when encountering military columns and to follow the instructions of law enforcement authorities. The passage of foreign military formations through the country is a common practice within the framework of cooperation between NATO allies.
Authorities assure that the movement of the equipment will not cause serious traffic disruptions on major roads. The operation is expected to be completed within the two specified days, after which the military formations will continue to their final destination outside the borders of Bulgaria.
