Bulgaria prepares for extreme heat with temperatures up to 44 degrees
In the coming days, Bulgaria will be gripped by extremely hot weather. Meteorologists are warning of a significant rise in temperatures, which in some parts of the country could reach up to 44 degrees Celsius.
Experts advise citizens to be especially careful and avoid going outside during the hours of strongest sunshine, usually between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM. It is important to drink plenty of water and avoid heavy food to protect the body from overheating.
Despite the heat in the country, the Black Sea coast remains a more pleasant place to stay. The sea breeze has a cooling effect, making temperatures on the beaches more bearable compared to the interior of the country.
Authorities are urging people to regularly monitor the weather forecast and follow the recommendations of health services. Special attention should be paid to the elderly, children, and people with chronic illnesses, who are most at risk from the high temperatures.
