US special envoys held talks in Kyiv following meetings in Moscow
US presidential special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner held their first round of talks in Kyiv on Sunday, September 6. Their visit to the Ukrainian capital took place just one day after meetings held in Moscow, which has drawn the attention of the international community.
The diplomatic mission of the American representatives is aimed at discussing the situation in the region and seeking opportunities for dialogue. This visit is of great importance, as it occurs at a time of heightened tension and active efforts to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
For Bulgaria, these events are of essential significance due to the country's geographical proximity to the conflict zone. Any change in the dynamics of negotiations between the major world powers directly affects national security and economic stability in the Black Sea region.
The results of these talks are expected to become clearer in the coming days. Bulgarian institutions and analysts are closely monitoring the development of the situation in order to assess the potential consequences for our country's foreign policy in the context of the common European position.
