The National Assembly has established 24 standing parliamentary committees
The Bulgarian Parliament has officially completed the process of structuring its activities by establishing 24 standing parliamentary committees. These bodies are essential to the work of the deputies, as they are where bills are discussed and prepared before being voted on in the plenary hall.
According to official information, the distribution of leadership positions in the committees is now clear. A total of 14 of these 24 committees will be chaired by representatives of the political formation "Progressive Bulgaria."
The creation of the committees is an important step for the normal functioning of the legislative branch in the country. Each of them is responsible for a specific area, such as the budget, healthcare, education, or foreign policy, which allows for a more detailed examination of issues.
It is expected that the committees will begin their regular work in the very near future. Citizens will be able to follow their meetings, as they are part of the public decision-making process in the state.
