Kočani court to decide whether Iva Mihaylova will receive treatment in Bulgaria
Bulgarian citizen Iva Mihaylova is awaiting an important court decision that will determine whether she will be able to continue her treatment in Bulgaria. The woman was severely injured in a road accident in North Macedonia, which occurred on the road between the cities of Kočani and Štip.
Since October, Iva Mihaylova has been forced to remain in the city of Kočani, as the judicial authorities in the country have not allowed her to leave the area. This restriction severely hinders her access to the specialized medical care she needs following the accident.
