The state allocates 20 million euros for the preparation of 'Eurovision 2027' in Burgas
The Bulgarian state has announced an important step in the preparations for hosting the prestigious Eurovision Song Contest in 2027. Deputy Prime Minister Ivo Hristov held an official meeting with the mayor of Burgas, during which the funding for the large-scale event was discussed.
The main topic of the conversation was securing the funds for the guarantee that every host country must deposit with the contest organizers. For this purpose, the government is planning a budget of 20 million euros, which will be directed toward the initial preparation costs.
The choice of Burgas as the host for Eurovision 2027 is a strategic decision aimed at promoting the Bulgarian Black Sea coast on an international level. The city will need to improve its infrastructure and ensure suitable conditions for hosting an event of such magnitude.
Further meetings between representatives of the state government and the local administration are forthcoming to finalize the work plan. Preparations are expected to begin as soon as possible so that Bulgaria can represent itself worthily before millions of viewers from all over the world.
