Bozhidar Bozhanov: Urgent reforms needed in the Ministry of Interior due to information leaks
Former Minister of e-Government Bozhidar Bozhanov has leveled serious criticism at the work of the Ministry of Interior (MoI). According to him, there is a systemic problem within the department regarding the leaking of confidential information to individuals from the criminal underworld.
Bozhanov emphasized that these cases are not being investigated with sufficient depth and objectivity. He believes that the lack of adequate action by internal services undermines public trust in state institutions and hinders the fight against organized crime.
According to the MP, the problem is not isolated but systemic. He called for the introduction of stricter control over access to databases, as well as more rigorous vetting of employees who are authorized to handle sensitive information.
In conclusion, the topic of security within the Ministry of Interior remains at the forefront of public debate. The issue is expected to be discussed in parliament, where political forces will seek ways to improve internal control and ensure greater transparency in the work of law enforcement agencies.
