Prof. Vladimir Chukov: Bulgaria maintains its foreign policy course
Bulgaria does not plan a sharp change in its foreign policy, stated renowned Arabist Prof. Vladimir Chukov. According to him, our country continues to follow its established strategic priorities, focusing mainly on improving the way they are implemented.
In a commentary on the current political situation, the expert emphasized that radical reversals in relations with international partners should not be expected. Instead, the state is striving for a more flexible and effective approach to solving foreign policy tasks.
Prof. Chukov noted that the change in approach is a natural process aimed at better protecting national interests in a complex global environment. This includes more active dialogue and more precise diplomacy within the European Union and NATO.
In conclusion, the expert points out that Bulgarian foreign policy remains predictable and stable. The main focus of the institutions remains the preservation of good relations with key allies, while simultaneously seeking more pragmatic solutions to the challenges facing the country.
