Bulgaria could receive nearly 24 billion euros from European funds
Bulgaria has the opportunity to receive significantly more funding from the European Union over the next seven years. According to data presented by MEP Andrey Novakov, the total amount of funds for our country could reach nearly 24 billion euros.
The initial proposal provided for Bulgaria to receive 22.3 billion euros. However, the new plan includes an additional 2 billion euros, which represents a significant increase in investment for the country. These funds are intended for the development of various sectors and the modernization of the Bulgarian economy.
Despite the expected benefits, discussions have emerged in political circles regarding the government's position on this issue. Andrey Novakov expressed surprise at the cabinet's intentions to challenge the proposed parameters, emphasizing that the additional resources are important for the national interest.
Further talks are expected to take place in the coming weeks to clarify the details surrounding the distribution of these funds. The goal is for Bulgaria to make the most of European support in order to improve infrastructure and the quality of life for its citizens.
