Bulgaria Air launches direct flights between Sofia and Burgas
The national air carrier Bulgaria Air has announced important news for passengers in the country. Starting May 2, 2027, the company is launching a new direct air route that will connect the capital, Sofia, with the seaside city of Burgas.
This initiative is part of the preparations for the upcoming summer tourist season. The airline's goal is to facilitate travel for thousands of Bulgarians and foreign tourists who wish to visit the Black Sea coast more quickly and conveniently.
According to official information, Bulgaria Air plans to operate up to two flights per day on this route. This will give passengers greater flexibility when planning their business trips or seaside vacations.
It is expected that the new route will contribute to the development of domestic tourism and improve transport connectivity between Western and Eastern Bulgaria. Tickets for the flights will now be available for booking through the airline's channels.
