The Bulgarian government has appointed 28 new regional governors
The Council of Ministers has made an important decision regarding the administrative management of the country. The government has officially appointed 28 new regional governors, who will take over the leadership of all regions in Bulgaria.
With this decision, the previous regional governors have been relieved of their posts. The change is part of the regular process of renewing personnel in the state administration, aimed at ensuring more effective work at the local level.
Regional governors have a key role in state power. They are responsible for implementing state policy locally, coordinating the work of the territorial structures of the ministries, and monitoring the legality of the acts issued by municipal councils.
The new appointments take effect immediately. It is expected that in the coming days, the new leaders will take office and begin work on their priorities in the respective regions of the country.
