The State Agency for Child Protection celebrated its 25th anniversary
The President of the National Assembly, Mihaela Dotsova, expressed her respect for the employees of the State Agency for Child Protection (SACP). The occasion for this recognition is the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the institution, which works actively to improve the living and development conditions for children in Bulgaria.
During the official event, Dotsova called those working at the agency the "invisible heroes" of the country. She emphasized that their daily work often goes unnoticed by society, even though it is of crucial importance for the safety of the youngest citizens. According to her, the care for children is a top priority for the state.
Over the last two and a half decades, the SACP has gone through numerous changes to meet modern challenges. The agency deals with a wide range of activities, including the prevention of violence, support for at-risk families, and ensuring a better environment for the development of adolescents.
In her speech, the President of the Parliament noted that the role of the institution is key to building a stable society. She called for continued efforts toward better coordination between the various state bodies so that every child in Bulgaria can feel protected and supported.
