Syria demands investigation following the disappearance of the ship "Alpha Watan"
Syrian authorities have officially requested the launch of an independent investigation into the disappearance of the merchant ship "Alpha Watan". The vessel vanished under unclear circumstances, which has caused serious concern among international maritime authorities.
During the search operation in the area of the incident, only a few items related to the ship were discovered. Rescue teams found one overturned lifeboat, three life rafts, and various pieces of the vessel's equipment. At this time, however, there are no traces of the crew.
The lack of specific information regarding the fate of the people on board makes the situation extremely critical. Rescue services continue to search the maritime zone, but poor weather conditions and the absence of clear signals are hindering their work.
The international community is monitoring the case with attention, as the security of maritime routes is of key importance to global trade. It is expected that more details regarding the progress of the investigation and the potential causes of the incident will be presented in the coming days.
