Sharp criticism between Korneliya Ninova and President Rumen Radev
The former leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP), Korneliya Ninova, has leveled serious accusations against President Rumen Radev. In a statement, she sharply criticized the head of state's behavior, describing it as contradictory and insincere.
According to Ninova, the president takes two different positions on important political issues. She claims that Radev displays one type of behavior before his international partners in order to win their approval, while speaking in a completely different way to Bulgarian citizens.
Ninova used strong words, calling the president's actions "lies, manipulation, and hypocrisy." She believes that these discrepancies in the head of state's rhetoric are intended solely to manipulate public opinion in the country.
This statement is the latest episode in the deteriorating relationship between the BSP and the presidential institution. The conflict between the two sides continues to be a subject of attention in Bulgarian political life, highlighting deep differences in their understanding of how the state should be governed.
At this moment, the presidency has not provided an official response to these accusations. Observers are waiting to see if this dispute will lead to new political tensions in the coming weeks.
