The village of Logodazh gathered lovers of traditional Bulgarian lyutenitsa
For the fifth consecutive year, the Blagoevgrad village of Logodazh became a center of culinary traditions by hosting the popular Lyutenitsa Festival. The event took place at the end of August and attracted many residents and guests of the region who wanted to experience the authentic taste of Bulgarian cuisine.
The festival aims to preserve old recipes for making lyutenitsa, which are passed down from generation to generation. Visitors had the opportunity to observe the entire preparation process – from roasting the peppers to boiling the mixture in large cauldrons outdoors.
The organizers emphasize that interest in the event grows every year. In addition to the demonstrations of culinary skills, the celebration included a musical program and an exhibition of local products produced by small farms in the Blagoevgrad area.
These types of festivals are important for the development of rural tourism in Bulgaria. They not only support local producers but also help preserve Bulgarian folklore and traditions related to the preparation of winter preserves.
