The Ministry of Tourism presents the new pilgrimage route "Camino Bulgaria"
The Ministry of Tourism has launched a large-scale campaign to promote the new pilgrimage route "Camino Bulgaria." The initiative aims to attract both local tourists and foreign guests who are interested in cultural and spiritual tourism in the country.
The route passes through picturesque regions in Bulgaria and connects important historical and religious sites. Similar to the famous "El Camino de Santiago" in Spain, the Bulgarian version offers travelers the opportunity for reflection, physical activity, and exploration of the region's rich cultural heritage.
Experts from the ministry emphasize that the project is part of a strategy for the development of alternative types of tourism. The goal is to extend the tourist season and support the economy in the smaller settlements through which the route passes.
