Bulgarian cadets won a bronze medal at a fencing tournament in Istanbul
The Bulgarian women's cadet fencing team achieved great success at the international sabre tournament held in Istanbul. The young Bulgarian competitors demonstrated excellent preparation and fought their way to the bronze medals in the team competition.
The path to the podium began convincingly in the second round of eliminations. The Bulgarians faced the fifth team of Turkey and achieved a categorical victory with a score of 45:18. This success gave the team confidence for the upcoming matches.
In the next stage of the tournament, the Bulgarian fencers met the third team of Romania. Despite the serious competition, our girls managed to outperform their opponents 45:30, which secured them a place among the best in the final standings.
This achievement is an important recognition of the hard work of the young Bulgarian athletes and their coaches. The success in Istanbul proves that the Bulgarian fencing school continues to develop talented competitors who perform with dignity on the international stage.
