Bulgaria prepares to attract more tourists from Japan
Bulgaria plans to strengthen its presence in the Far East tourism market. Representatives of the Bulgarian tourism sector are actively working on organizing a special visit for Japanese tour operators to the country.
The main goal of the initiative is to show guests from Japan the side of Bulgaria they are looking for – a combination of rich history, culture, and authentic experiences. The Bulgarian side aims to present its unique landmarks in a way that meets the high expectations of Japanese tourists.
During the discussions, it was emphasized that the Japanese market is extremely important for the development of tourism in our country. The visit of the tour operators will be a key step toward building long-term partnerships and increasing the flow of Japanese visitors to Bulgarian resorts and historical sites.
It is expected that after the experts' visit, new tourism packages will be created to make Bulgaria a more recognizable destination in Japan. This cooperation is part of the strategy to promote our country as a year-round tourism destination with diverse opportunities for recreation.
