Olympic champion Karlos Nasar becomes the face of Bulgarian tourism
Olympic weightlifting champion Karlos Nasar will participate in promoting Bulgaria as a tourist destination. The athlete, who won a gold medal at the Paris Games, will be part of the country's new advertising campaigns aimed at an international audience.
Minister of Tourism Evtim Dimitrov met personally with Nasar to discuss future cooperation. During the meeting, the minister presented the champion with a special statuette featuring a Bulgarian rose. It will be a key element in the messages that Bulgaria will convey to foreign tourists.
The choice of Karlos Nasar as an ambassador for Bulgarian tourism is no coincidence. His achievements on the sports stage have drawn the world's attention to Bulgaria. His popularity is expected to help attract more guests who want to visit the homeland of one of the most successful athletes of the moment.
Through this initiative, the Ministry of Tourism hopes to present our country as a place with traditions, culture, and successful individuals. The campaign will focus on Bulgaria's recognition as a destination for active recreation and quality experiences.
In the coming months, the specific promotional materials featuring Karlos Nasar are expected to be unveiled. This strategy is part of the state's efforts to strengthen Bulgaria's image in the global tourism market.
