Residents demand constant air quality monitoring around Bobov Dol TPP
The civic association "Za Razmetanitsa" has submitted an official request for the implementation of constant atmospheric air quality monitoring in the area of the Bobov Dol Thermal Power Plant. Local residents are expressing serious concerns regarding pollution levels and the plant's impact on the region's environment.
According to representatives of the association, current inspection methods are insufficient to provide full clarity on the state of the air. They are insisting on the installation of modern measuring instruments that would provide real-time data accessible to the public.
Constant monitoring would allow institutions to react more quickly when permissible limits for harmful emissions are exceeded. Residents hope that these measures will ensure greater transparency and protect the health of people living near the energy facility.
