Exhibition of Revival-era jewelry visits Burgas
Residents and guests of Burgas will have the opportunity to connect with Bulgarian cultural heritage through a new exhibition. The exposition presents unique jewelry from the National Revival period, which reveals the craftsmanship and traditions of Bulgarian goldsmiths from that era.
The official opening of the event is scheduled for September 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM. The exhibition will be hosted by the "Sea Casino" Cultural Center, which is one of the most iconic venues for cultural events in the city.
Visitors will be able to view a variety of ornaments that were part of Bulgarian women's attire during the 18th and 19th centuries. The collection includes finely crafted belt buckles (pafti), earrings, and chest ornaments, made with precision and attention to detail.
The organizers invite all history and art lovers to attend the event. Admission is free, and the exhibition will remain open for visits for several weeks, providing an opportunity for students and tourists to learn more about the daily lives of our ancestors.
