New Health Features for Samsung Smartwatches in Bulgaria
Samsung smartwatch users in Bulgaria now have access to new and important health features. The Samsung Health Monitor app is officially available for the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 models. This allows owners of these devices to monitor their condition more easily, directly from their wrist.
The main new capabilities are blood pressure measurement and performing an electrocardiogram (ECG). These features help people better understand how their heart works and track important indicators in their daily lives. Until now, these extras were available only for the company's newest models, but they are now active for older versions in the country as well.
To start measuring their blood pressure, users must first calibrate their watch. This is done using a traditional blood pressure monitor with a cuff. After this process, the watch can independently record changes in pressure through special sensors that analyze the pulse wave.
The ECG function works in a simple way – by touching the top button of the watch for about 30 seconds. The app analyzes the heart rhythm and can detect signs of atrial fibrillation. This is a common form of arrhythmia that is important to notice in time to seek medical help.
