Serious road accidents in Bulgaria: Two dead and dozens injured in 24 hours
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported an extremely serious situation on the country's roads over the past 24 hours. According to official data, 30 serious traffic accidents have been registered, which have led to tragic consequences.
As a result of the crashes, two people have lost their lives, and another 37 have sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity. Emergency medical teams and the police have been working on the ground throughout the day to assist the victims and regulate traffic in busy sections.
Traffic police remind all motor vehicle drivers to be especially careful, to observe speed limits, and not to drive after consuming alcohol or intoxicating substances. Deteriorating weather conditions and heavy traffic often become the cause of dangerous situations on the road.
Authorities are calling on citizens for more tolerance and responsibility behind the wheel. Road safety remains a priority, and increased control on the main road arteries in the country will continue in the coming days to prevent further accidents.
