Prime Minister Glavchev and Friedrich Merz discussed Bulgaria's future in Europe
Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev held an important meeting with the leader of the German opposition, Friedrich Merz. The main topic of the conversation was Bulgaria's role as a reliable European partner, which is no longer on the periphery of the union but occupies a key position in common European processes.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Bulgaria and Germany. Special attention was paid to attracting new investments that would support our country's economic development and create better conditions for business.

The Prime Minister and Mr. Merz exchanged views regarding the complex situation in Ukraine and the tension in the Middle East, specifically in Iran. They emphasized the need for unity within the European Union in resolving these global conflicts.
