The city of Kyustendil introduces water rationing due to resource shortages
The residents of the city of Kyustendil will be subject to strict water rationing in the coming days. The decision is necessary due to a shortage of drinking water affecting the region, which requires urgent measures to limit consumption.
According to official information, water in the city will be shut off during the night hours. Water supply will be suspended from 10:00 PM in the evening until 6:00 AM the following morning.
During daylight hours, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, water supply to households will be normal. Local authorities are urging citizens to use water wisely and not to waste it on watering gardens or washing cars until the situation normalizes.
At this moment, it is unclear how long this rationing will last. The municipality and the water utility company are monitoring the levels of water sources and will inform the public in a timely manner of any changes to the schedule or the lifting of restrictions.
