The Bulgarian Parliament has established 24 standing committees
The National Assembly of Bulgaria has officially completed the process of establishing its standing parliamentary committees. The total number of formed structures is 24, and they will play a key role in the legislative activities of the state during the upcoming period.
The distribution of leadership positions in these committees is now clear. According to official information, 14 out of the 24 committees will be chaired by representatives of the political formation "Progressive Bulgaria."
Parliamentary committees are an essential part of the deputies' work. They discuss draft laws in detail before they are voted on in the plenary hall. The members of the committees review proposals, make changes, and prepare reports on topics important to the country.
With the formation of these bodies, the work of the National Assembly is expected to become more efficient. Deputies will be able to focus on specific sectors such as economy, healthcare, education, and foreign policy in order to find solutions to the current problems of Bulgarian citizens.
