Minister Ivan Shishkov prepares new brief for the construction of a children's hospital
Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Ivan Shishkov announced that a new brief is being prepared for the construction of the long-awaited national children's hospital. According to him, the current project is inefficient and leads to the wasteful spending of public funds.
Shishkov sharply criticized previous attempts to implement the project. He described the actions taken over the last three years as "one of the sins" of the administration, as they have not led to any real results, but only to delays in construction.
The main goal of the new brief is to optimize costs and ensure a modern and functional facility that meets the needs of patients and doctors. The ministry plans to analyze all previous shortcomings to avoid repeating past mistakes.
The issue of building a specialized medical facility for children is a priority for Bulgarian society. More details regarding the new plans and project timelines are expected to be presented in the coming weeks.
It remains to be seen whether the ministry's new strategy will succeed in putting an end to the long-standing disputes and initiating the actual construction of the hospital.
