The tanker "Kairos" has remained in the Gulf of Burgas for eight months now
The tanker "Kairos" continues to remain in the Gulf of Burgas, even though eight months have passed since the beginning of its stay. The ship is located in Bulgarian territorial waters, despite official orders for it to be removed.
The situation surrounding the vessel is drawing the attention of institutions, as it has remained anchored in the gulf for a long time. At the moment, the authorities are monitoring the condition of the ship to ensure security in the area.
Experts have carried out inspections of the tanker to determine if there is any danger to the environment. According to the latest data, no leaks of fuel or other harmful substances that could pollute the seawater have been reported so far.
Despite the lack of an ecological threat, the question of removing the "Kairos" from Bulgarian waters remains open. It is expected that the institutions will take further steps to resolve the issue of the tanker's long stay in the gulf.
