Train traffic in Karlovo temporarily suspended due to gas leak
Train traffic through the railway station in the town of Karlovo has been temporarily suspended. The reason for the transport stoppage is a dangerous incident involving a gas leak from a tanker located in the station area.
Fire department crews and specialized units were immediately dispatched to the scene to bring the situation under control. Necessary safety measures have been taken to prevent the risk of fire or explosion that could threaten the health of people in the vicinity.
Due to the incident, the schedule of trains passing through this section has been disrupted. Passengers planning to travel in the region are advised to monitor information from the National Railway Infrastructure Company and BDZ for current schedule changes.
At this time, authorities are working to resolve the technical problem. Train traffic is expected to be restored as soon as it is guaranteed that the area is completely safe for citizens and station employees.
