Minister of Tourism invites Etihad airline to fly to Bulgaria
Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov has taken important steps to improve our country's air connections. He has officially invited Etihad Airways to begin flights to Bulgaria, which would facilitate travel for tourists and business travelers from the Middle East.
During the discussions, Minister Dimitrov proposed establishing direct working contacts with the airline's management. The goal of this initiative is to explore opportunities for launching new routes that would connect Sofia with the company's international hubs.
The Bulgarian side expressed full readiness for cooperation and proposed meetings as early as next week. Such a step is expected to increase the number of foreign guests in Bulgaria and support the development of economic relations between the two countries.
