Series of serious accidents in the country: one dead and dozens injured
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported an extremely busy and tragic 24 hours on Bulgarian roads. Over the past 24 hours, a total of 18 serious traffic accidents have been registered in the country, leading to serious consequences for those involved.
As a result of the incidents, one person lost their life, and another 23 sustained injuries of varying severity. The police are working to clarify the causes of each accident, with initial data indicating that inappropriate speed and failure to follow traffic rules remain the main factors for the dangerous situations that arose.
Traffic police are urging drivers to exercise increased caution and responsibility behind the wheel. With the onset of heavier traffic, the risk of accidents increases, which necessitates strict adherence to following distances and the limitation of risky maneuvers, especially during poor weather conditions or on busy road sections.
Authorities remind the public that road safety is a shared responsibility. Every driver must be prepared for unexpected situations and adapt to road conditions in order to prevent such tragedies in the future.
