Bulgaria and Greece join forces for a new wine-themed cultural route
Bulgaria and Greece are launching a joint project aimed at promoting wine tourism in the region. The initiative is titled "The Cultural Wine Route" and covers territories in Southern Bulgaria and Northern Greece.
The main idea of the project is to connect important historical and cultural sites in the two neighboring countries. The route will include visits to archaeological excavations, specialized museums, and local wineries that preserve the traditions of the region.
In addition to historical heritage, tourists will have the opportunity to learn about modern wine production. The program provides for the organization of various festivals and events to attract wine lovers from all over the world.
This project is expected to increase interest in the region and support the development of local businesses. Through their cooperation, the two countries hope to create a unique experience that combines the history, culture, and gastronomy of the Balkans.
