Political scandal in the US: Republicans condemn racist post by their candidate
A serious political scandal has rocked the Republican Party in the US after candidate for public office Bo French posted a controversial photo on social media. The post, which refers to students of different ethnic backgrounds, sparked a wave of discontent among his fellow party members.
Texas Senator John Cornyn and a number of other influential Republicans sharply criticized French's behavior. According to them, his comments are unacceptable, racist, and do not represent the party's values. Many of them openly stated that the post disgusted them.
This incident comes at a time when the political climate in the US is becoming increasingly tense ahead of the upcoming elections. The case is attracting the attention of the international community, as such displays of hate speech often become the subject of serious public debate regarding tolerance and political culture.
Although the event is taking place in Texas, it is important for international observers as it highlights internal divisions within the American right. The case is expected to have consequences for Bo French's political career and influence his campaign in the future.
