Bulgaria strengthens its role in European space research
Bulgaria has the ambition to take a more active position in the development of European space capabilities. According to caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, our country possesses a long history and significant experience in the field of scientific research and high technologies, which gives us the right to a worthy place in modern European projects.
Over the past decades, Bulgarian scientists and engineers have contributed significantly to the development of space science. Today, the focus is shifting toward closer cooperation with European partners so that Bulgaria can participate actively in the continent's joint efforts for technological progress.
Participation in European space programs will not only increase the country's prestige but will also stimulate innovation in the Bulgarian industry. This is an opportunity for young specialists to work on large-scale projects that define the future of technology in Europe.
It is expected that by 2026, Bulgaria will solidify its presence in the sector through new partnerships and investments in scientific infrastructure. This strategy aims to turn our country into a reliable partner that contributes its unique knowledge and expertise to common European goals in space.
