American military aircraft have left Bezmer Air Base
The American military aircraft that were deployed at Bezmer Air Base have completed their mission and have now left Bulgarian territory. This was announced by official sources from the Ministry of Defense, who specified that the withdrawal went according to plan and without any incidents.
The presence of allied forces at the base was part of regular NATO exercises in the region. These drills are aimed at improving coordination between the Bulgarian Air Force and their partners from the Alliance. All flights were conducted in strict compliance with safety regulations.
The military department emphasized that there is no danger to the population in the Bezmer area or to the national security of the country. All activities during the stay of the American aircraft were aimed entirely at increasing the defensive capabilities of Bulgaria as a member of NATO.
At the moment, the air base is returning to its usual rhythm of operation. The Bulgarian military continues to carry out its daily tasks related to guarding the country's airspace. The situation in the region remains calm and under control.
