Canadian Travel to the United States Increases Slightly in June
New data from Statistics Canada shows that travel between Canada and the United States is slowly growing. In June, the number of Canadians returning from trips to the U.S. rose by 3.2 per cent compared to the same time last year.
According to the preliminary figures, Canadians made approximately 1.7 million return trips across the border during the month of June. This increase suggests a steady interest in cross-border travel for vacations, shopping, and visiting family.
Despite this recent growth, travel numbers remain lower than they were several years ago. Experts note that current travel patterns are still significantly below the levels seen before the political and economic shifts that began during the Trump administration.
